Medical and Dental Officer Special Pay

Medical and dental officers receive special bonuses to help compensate them for their added educational costs and make their overall income comparable to their civilian counterparts. The Special Pay (SP) amounts are added to your pay each month, but there are also annual bonuses and commitment bonuses that pay annually.
