Fort Lee

Established in 1917, shortly after the US entered World War I, Fort Lee was used as a mobilization and training camp - just 60 days after construction began, it already housed 14,000 men! During World War II Fort Lee was used as a Quartermaster Replacement Training Center and a Medical Replacement Training Center.

Fort Lee has retained the Quartermaster Training school, and as a part of Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), is also involved in the training of Logistics, Ordnance, and Transportation specialists.
