Fort George G. Meade

Fort George G. Meade was established in 1917 as a training camp for US soldiers entering World War I. It was briefly used as a tank school between WWI and WWII, and was used again to train soldiers during World War II.

Today Fort Meade houses the National Security Agency, the headquarters of the US Cyber Command, the Defense Information School, and the Defense Courier Service.
