Camp Atterbury

Mission Statement: 
To serve as a Forces Command Power Generation Platform and 1A Mobilization Station – we are the designated mobilization site for many units of the National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve. To serve as a premier training site for both individuals and units from all branches of service for both Reserve and Active Duty training and other special training events. To serve as a training site for all Public Service organizations such as Department of Homeland Security, State and Local Police, and other first responders.
Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center (JMTC) is home to Army National Guard and Army Reserves, Marine Corps, and other units that train and mobilize here. With over 33,000 acres of maneuver area, Camp Atterbury has live fire ranges for infantry, artillery, a 1,200 acre range for tanks and Bradleys, all the way up to aerial gunnery ranges for A-10 Thunderbolts.
