MOS Details
Major Duties: 

Voice Interception Technician is a warrant officer position which is responsible for conducting and directing Intelligence and Electronic Warfare (IEW) personnel on correct techniques, procedures, and employment of IEW assets. In addition, they may also advise commanders and their staff on the most effective way to employ IEW assets.

Qualifications and Prerequisites
Other Qualifications: 
  • Must be a sergeant with at least 4 years in the 35P (Cryptologic Linguist) MOS
  • Must successfully complete both the 35P producing course and the 35P Advanced Leadership Course
  • Must have a current Top Secret clearance, and be eligible for access to sensitive compartmentalized information (SCI)
  • Must be qualified in the foreign language identified by the DA Language Office; you must submit a Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) taken within the past twelve months
