Major Duties: 

A Medical Operations Officer plans and directs the activities of personnel and units responsible for inventory management of all Class VIII medical supplies. The Medical Operations Officer also directs and exercises staff supervision of units engaged in production, acquisition, storage, and distribution of medical equipment, repair parts, and supplies. The Medical Operations Officer also serves as an advisor to commanders and their staffs on the subject of supporting Health Services operations.
