MOS Details
Major Duties: 

The Counter Intelligence Technician is a warrant officer position which conducts investigations into potential acts of terrorism, espionage, or sabotage, against the Army, and works to prevent such acts. They also report such threats to commanders and their staff, and may also work with the Criminal Investigation Division, FBI, Department of Justice, and other federal or state agencies.

Qualifications and Prerequisites
Other Qualifications: 
  • Must be a sergeant, with at least 4 years in 35L (Counter Intelligence Agent) MOS
  • Must successfully complete the 35L MOS producing course OR the CI Special Agent Course (CISAC) and eligible to carry CI credentials
  • Must successfully complete the Military Intelligence Advance Leadership Course
  • Must have a current Top Secret clearance, and be eligible for access to sensitive compartmentalized information (SCI)
