The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America's military in their time of need. Return the Favor is an awareness and fundraising campaign sponsored by the VFW Foundation to honor, celebrate and support active-duty and retired military and their families. The VFW Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and official charity of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), America’s oldest and largest service group for combat veterans.

HOPE NOW consists of mortgage servicers, investors, and counselors. They are united to assist distressed borrowers retain their homes and avoid foreclosure. There are non-VA programs that the group has at their disposal that may be available to provide the assistance the VA can not. The members of this alliance recognize that by working together, they will be more effective than by working independently.

The Department of the Treasury and the Department of Housing and Urban Development encouraged leaders in the lending industry, investors and non-profits to form this alliance.

Our journey has grown and changed to expand to the needs of the families we serve. Mothers, fathers, spouses and extended family and friends who have spent endless hours at the bedside of their loved one, because of the severity of many of the injuries this journey can last for several months and for others...several years.
