Website - Operation Care & Comfort
Historically, Americans have shown their support to our troops serving at war. By writing letters, mailing care packages, or by showing support for a deployed troop or veteran's family, we honor those who serve. All volunteer Operation: Care and Comfort (OCC) is proud to continue this tradition of service.
Since 2003, our mission is to provide support and comfort to troops, veterans, and their families. OCC ships monthly care packages to “adopted” military units serving in Afghanistan and conflict regions until they return. OCC proudly assists troops serving on humanitarian missions, such as the Japanese tsunami and Haiti earthquake, and during disasters at home when needed.
Troops, veterans, and their families love our two fastest growing support programs, “Adopt a Military Family” and “Tickets for Troops.” Imagine sending these deserving families to events they simply cannot afford, FREE. In addition, hundreds of military and veteran's families are supported through our "Adopt a Military Family" program. These programs allow us to support military families who are left behind when a loved one deploys and when they return, to assist veterans, and military kids as well as families who have lost a loved one while serving (Gold Star Families) and families of wounded warriors.
