MSG Glenn Might Be Off For Awhile

My computer is giving me all sorts of fits. I think either the hard drive is dying or I picked up a virus or both. It's getting increasingly difficult to post so it looks like I might have to shop for a new (used - I'm poor) computer.

If nobody hears from me for a time I'll definitely be back as soon as I can. I'll try to hold out as long as possible using this derelict.

New computer on the way

I've been nursing this computer for about a week now & am able to make a few posts before it goes really crazy. My new one should be here by the end of the week or early next week & it shouldn't take me too long to load my programs in it.

Hopefully I'll be able to stay online in the meantime but might go off for a day or two to get everything set up.

Please bear with me & I'll try to get on eventually to answer your questions.

Back in business

My computer came yesterday & I spent a good portion of today updating it & installing programs. This is a used computer & from what I gather it must have sat for about 3 months. There were lots of virus guard updates as well as service pack 3. There's still a ton of programs that are loaded but not installed. I don't know if I'll bother with any, though. I don't think I'll have any use for most of them.
