Difficulty contacting recruiters

For the past two days I have called the numbers for Recruiters in my area of Greensboro, NC but the line is constantly busy. I also tried calling one in the Fayetteville area, and it's the same thing...

I want to know if the Army is accepting prior service with a RE Code of 2B, and if so, is a waiver required? I also want to know if I would have to do basic training again?

I don't know why you can't contact a Recruiter. That shouldn't be. Maybe they're just that busy. I know there are times when Recruiters have training & the office is understaffed. As Soldiers they're required to train just like anyone else.

I don't know if a RE 2B is waiverable. They keep changing recruiting policy.

I'm pretty sure that you'd have to do BCT again. It might depend on when you got discharged.

Good luck in trying to get ahold of a Recruiter. Keep trying. that's the only way you can get the latest policies & even get into the Army.

Wow, i'm late...

I would have suggested going straight to one of the offices. I didn't even bother calling.

That's always...

..an option. It depends how far away the Recruiting Station is from you. If you're in a small town that requires travel to see a Recruiter then I'd call first.

Thanks...

...Vance. That should help him if he ever comes back here to read it. He posted his question over 2 months ago.

Do you know Joshua Breland?
