We've been working on the

We've been working on the "Request Army Info" page over the past week. It is possible there is an issue with the validation of the form considering some of the items added and removed from the form. I'm having one of our programmers look at the form and your note now.

Because of the extensive listing of ALL of the recruiters in the US, I haven't made that a priority to add to the site because people filling out the Request Army Info form should have someone contact them within a week of submitting. Adding a full listing of all recruiters in the US is on my ToDo list, though.

It sounds like...

...a huge undertaking, Admin. Get that list finished & I know of one name you'll have to scratch off - my online Recruiter friend in TX. He'll be leaving recruiting duty in a few months if not sooner. Then I'll have lost any fresh recruiting policy information. All of my local contacts have been reassigned.

I still feel it's better to contact a Recruiter directly even if there are none in your immediate area.

I have tried the Request Army

I have tried the Request Army Info several times, but no one ever contacts me and everytime it says my information has been sent.

Fixed

The programmers found the issue late Tuesday and fixed the problem with the form early on Wednesday. Apparently there was a glitch with a "conditional" when users selected the education options that the system was requiring users to fill out, and yet, it wouldn't display that required field.

Requesting Army Info

I am trying to request army information. I don't have a middle name and it says I have to put a middle initial. What am I supposed to put there since I do not have a middle name??

Try this -

- (NMI)

If that doesn't work then I have no idea.

If you don't have a middle name...

How about putting "N" for "none" into that field. Unfortunately, I guess someone didn't learn that not everyone has a middle name and made a requirement for us to ensure all forms have that field filled out. How many more presidents after Truman will we need to have before the requirement for middle initials go away? :)

When you talk to the recruiter, I would certainly point out your middle name situation so they can correct the mistake that the govt contract necessitated for this form.

Don't...

...put an "X" in the place of your middle initial. From that time forward you'll be know as "Xavier", LOL.

I only ran across one Soldier without a middle name. he was instructed to put (NMI) for "no middle initial" in place of one.
