... but if you passed the exam even with some deficiencies & don't need a waiver you shouldn't have a problem. I don't even know if that's an actual requirement. Somewhere there should be a regulation for acceptance to Airborne School online. I'll try to find it via a search when I have more time & post it here. Meanwhile you should be able find it yourself or ask your Recruiter if he knows.
I looked at the requirements online but there was no mention of passing these tests.
Couldn't find a thing. Although the web isn't necessarily the last word. If the Airborne physical is passed that should be the final criteria.
It wasn't an option when I chose my MOS so I'm thinking when I should mention being interested in it?
It looks like you'll have to wait for a call of volunteers for Airborne School at AIT/OSUT. If nobody is needed to fill a class then no volunteers will be solicited. At most times if you don't have an Option 4 in your contract you'll have to wait until re-enlistment time & have that as a condition of re-enlistment.
To be honest as long as as they said your eyes were good then you should be fine. I had people that missed a couple of the slides but still got airborne.
Thanks for the info. They didn't make a big deal out of it, so I'm assuming it's ok.
