I'm looking into joining a reserve unit and was informed that I will be required to through Army BMT. As a female NCO what can I expect?

@ vwayne

Explain "BMT".

NCOs are treated like NCOs regardless what the circumstances are but in a training environment the Instructor is the boss no matter what his/her rank is.

So did I

Some refer to Army training as IET, Initial Entry Training. I prefer to call it by each phase - BCT, AIT or OSUT.

We just called it bootcamp & A School when I was in the Navy. I opted to skip A School because there was slot in Submarine School that I wanted. I couldn't see riding a tin can during my enlistment. It worked out good for me.
