Fort Jackson is the largest and most active Initial Entry Training (IET) Center in the US Army; training 50 percent of all soldiers entering the US Army. Providing Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) for recruits is the post's primary mission. Accomplishing this mission means training in excess of 45,000 BCT and AIT personnel each year.

Mission Statement: 
The United States Army Training Center and Fort Jackson (USATC&FJ) trains Soldiers and other personnel in support of full spectrum operations; receives and transforms volunteers into Soldiers who are able to function effectively in their first unit of assignment (FUA); trains and educates our military and civilian leaders; and provides the highest possible quality of life for our Soldiers and their Families.

Fort Sill

About

Fort Sill is a major U.S. Army installation located in southwest Oklahoma. It was originally founded to protect settlers in Texas from raids by the plains Indian tribes. Soldiers from famous units like the 7th Cavalry (led by Col. George A. Custer) and the 10th Cavalry (known as the Buffalo Soldiers) used Fort Sill during the Indian Wars. Geronimo, Kiowa Chief Satanta, and Comanche Chief Quanah Parker are among the famous Native American leaders buried there.

Fort Leonard Wood

About

Fort Leonard Wood, located in the south central Missouri Ozarks, lies on 62,911 acres. The post was created in December 1940 and named in honor of General Leonard Wood, former Chief of Staff and Medal of Honor recipient.

Mission Statement: 
The Maneuver Support Center of Excellence develops Leaders and Warriors; advances Engineer, Military Police, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) and Maneuver Support capabilities to ensure success in the current and future operational environments; sets conditions for training, readiness, deployment, reconstitution, and sustainment of all tenant forces. On order, deploys the 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade to conduct CBRN Consequence Management operations in support of ARNORTH’s JTF Civil Support.

Fort Benning

About

Fort Benning is one of the US Army's busiest facilities. It sits on the border of Georgia and Alabama, covering nearly 200,000 acres. Fort Benning is the primary training installation for all US Army infantry personnel. Enlisted infantry recruits undergo Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in a combined fourteen-week course called One Station Unit Training.
